Ricardo Azevedo was born on January 12, 1975, in Vila Nova de Gaia, he graduated in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto. In 1997 receives the Peter White prize, awarded to the best student ranked in the 3rd year of the architecture FAUP. From 1997 to 1999 he worked with the architect Francisco Barata Fernandes. In 2000, he receives a prize sponsored by the Rotary Club of Porto Douro, attributed to the top-ranked student of the course of Architecture of Oporto University. In the same year, also receives an award from the Engineer António de Almeida Foundation, Dr. Aguiar Branco Achievement Award, awarded to graduates with the highest rating, always less than 16 points. From January 2001 to November 2002 he worked at the Municipality of Santo Tirso in the Department of Studies and Projects. Since 2001, Ricardo Azevedo teaches at the Superior Artistic School of Porto (ESAP), the College of Architecture Course.
